Lilac Fest 2015 opening day

Lilac Festival performance week started off hot with 90 degree temp and lots of people. I was blessed to have the Holmsten's show up and cheer me on. For the first time ever I used the yellow performance cart at the Festival and it worked well. Nothing like standing ona large   box, making noise and waving machetes to get peoples attention.

I had many people make dotions to the hat withouf me even asking. I have to continue to work on my "pitch" asI Often   forget that people feel good when they give to a street performer. I remembered this after I made a donation to the the Silver Cowboy and got my picture with him.
